There are so many trains in portage it's crazy! We stop for trains almost as much as Winnipeger's do for red lights on portage ave!

This is a lamo picture of our church... i prefer the real thing but we're not that technically advanced yet. My computer at work is so slow i almost loose my salvation every time i have to work on it. If anyone would like to donate...lol

we had the African Children's choir come to our church in Portage and they were amazing! Our church was PACKED! i was even getting a litle scared for fire safety with the amount of people we had in there. Two of the guys stayed at our place and they're amazing. If you have a chance, find out what's going on in Uganda Africa. It's heartbreaking. These kids have been though things we could never imagine.

The Big MOVE

Well hello everyone!

I said last time that i'd keep everyone updated. Well, that didn't really happen. Since my last blog under a different name we've moved... to Portage La Prairie!
Paul is youth pastor and i'm worship Pastor (that's me, Jenn). It's great! well, challenging anyway. We're living in a really nice house that's been flooded with sewer water twice. That wasn't so fun. But we didn't have it that bad. At least our flooding stopped when the water died down. For others that got rain water... it just keeps on coming up the cracks in the floors!
The flooding has been terrible in Portage here. But we're making it and it's bringing people together. Some good can come out of it. The church basement also flooded twice. So we've got people in there fixing it up.
Our ministries at church are going awesome! We've averaged around 18-20 Jr. Youth each friday (and that's summer)! Our youth group is growing too. The worship is coming along. We're learning to worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4) and it's a challenge.
Soon it will be mine and Paul's 1 year anniversary! we're going camping! yay! August 1st to be exact.
I hope our blog isn't too borring thus far! I'll try to update it better. we don't have internet at our place yet so that can be tough to keep up to date. And the church computers are super SLOW!

If any of you are reading this from CPC... my sister's going there in Sept.! Treat her good... she's a fun one!
